promblems in compiling ESPEasy

#1 Post by thomaskl » 29 Jun 2019, 19:50

I try to compile ESPEasy with the Arduino IDE, following the instruction on the Let`s Control page.
Using Arduino 1.6.13 with ESP board libary 2.3.0 an ESPEasy_mega-20190607.
While compiling i get the error:
arduino-1.6.12P230\Portable\sketchbook\ESPEasy\Networking.ino:10:25: fatal error: lwip/etharp.h: No such file or directory
I could not find any help in the formu for this.

Thanks for your help.

That part should now be fixed. I merged it yesterday: https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEas ... f38b936097
But building on core 2.3.0 is not going to work.
I've been working on that a few months ago and was not able to do so myself.
Yesterday I also tested core 2.4.0 and managed to build a version, but as soon as it was flashed to a node, it crashed immediately.

At this moment the oldest core version supported is core 2.4.1, but I strongly suggest to go for core 2.5.2
