re-send RDIF info to Serial

#1 Post by Infoata » 30 Sep 2020, 15:44

Good morning,

I'm starting to tinker with a project in which I use a PN532 RFID reader, which ESPEasy has support.

The reader works very well and removes the tag from the card.

The next step I have to achieve, but could not, is to send that tag to Node-Red but by cable, I cannot use the MQTT protocol, I would have to use serial / uart.

I have configured the serial server but I get all the events that the console brings up ...

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

PS: I use an esp8266 Node MCU v3.

Regards!

I suspect you already tried it, but I suggest turning off the Serial log.
Tools-->Advanced-->LogSettings

That's the typical solution for suppressing common serial log messages.
