Why not use a GPIO expander chip to control the relais?
Those do not have to be switched very frequently so an expander is very well suitable for those.

Should i need to use GPIO expander chip even if use tlp280-4 opto instead of relays? If yes what do yo suggest me for GPIO expander chip i had never use it before so no experience for it?

Another option to reduce GPIO:
Serial MCU controlled relay, viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3245

What are you going to control with the relays ? Also, unless your design is already made for reasons; it's best to tell us what is your project.
What are you trying to accomplish ? Sometimes someone will come with a simpler way.

8 relays, one pcf8574 and two gpios.

Basically, I already have a receiver and an ir led connected to the nodemcu. I decided to add 4 relays or 4 optocouplers to the nodemcu to control 4 buttons in another circuit. Then I read something about the 8266 GPIO pin behavior at boot, then doubted if I randomly used 6 GPIOs would cause problems during boot. So decide to ask here. Maybe Grumpf i will start a new topic soon about that project. I usually start a project with a single idea, then the more I get hang out here, the more ideas come to my mind and the project gets bigger and bigger.

Let me play Sherlock here; you want to control 4 buttons with an IR sender, sounds like you got an old device with an old remote ? I got the same issue. Old X10 alarm, the last remote in mankind history and the need to control it through multiple sources is present so I was thinking simply soldering its buttons to contacts and pilot it with other HW. Never went further but possibly our needs are the same.

If I can be of any help, I'll be happy to.

I always use the pcf8574 for stability. At long as the pcf module has power it will preserve the gpio states even if the esp reboots.

Gonna go for some "Mandalorian" telly with the wife now. Tomorrow morning, I'll PM you and we can check how to help each other. Have a nice evening (Belgium here).
