Add support for Souliss

#1 Post by msev » 14 Feb 2016, 11:29

Besides Mysensors it would be really awesome if you guys could add Souliss support.

http://souliss.net/

Souliss is a homeautomation framework which also supports esp8266 and also has a webconfig and some integrations (emoncms, thingspeak, adafruit io in the works), and has a really nice android application which autodetects its gateway and nodes.

https://github.com/souliss/souliss/wiki

It has also some commercial products that support it already available: Authometion LYT Multicolor Light Bulb, Huacanxing WiFi RGBWW Controller, KMP Electronics DINo II / ProDINo, IONO Relay Board, Industruino, Freaklabs Chibiduino, Moteino RFM69HW, Olimex boards, etc.

But its lacking in integration with various home automation controllers (supports Openhab binding) where ESP-easy is stronger, and I think the community here is more active.

So could you please please add Souliss protocol support. (Can a Esp-easy node speak multiple protocols? So it could speak mqtt besides souliss?)

If the developer would need to ask the Souliss guys something I can relay the questions.

There is an own souliss-firmware for esp: http://souliss.net/media/how-to-load-a-sketch-on-ESP/
So I think there is no need to bend espeasy to match with soulis.

There is, because the Souliss protocol is nice only for the Souliss-android app...But what about other controllers, for them MQTT would be needed. I would like for the nodes to speak both protocols.
