There's a new Thyng in town

#1 Post by dduley » 28 Jul 2016, 21:56

Hi All,

I wanted to announce a new ESP8266 board that allows the connection of virtually any type of IO.The controller is the ESPEveryThyng-885. It was designed as a general controller board for pool and landscaping applications but it is proving to be much more than that!

The board is available from http://www.IoThyngs.com. It can be purchased as a bare board, Kit or fully assembled.
The User manual is up on the site for download. Soon there will be an assembly manual and installation manual.

The ESPEveryThyng-885 has 8 configurable relay outputs (On-board mechanical, On-board 2 Amp SSR or off-board high current SSR or Contactor.), 8 opto isolated digital inputs that can handle 3.3 to 240 volts AC or DC! and 5 signal conditioned analog inputs (One 10 bit channel and four 16 bit channels). There is a large prototyping area with access to all spare I/O and power supplies. There is an on-board micro USB port for flash programming and serial communication. The power supply module will accept 9-40 VDC or VAC so it can be operated from a cheap 24 V irrigation transformer. The board is only 6 inches by 5 inches (152.4 X 127 mm). Best of all it is ESPEasy compatible!

Please go to http://www.IoThyngs.com and check it out! Download the manual and let us know what you think.
Just added the board schematic: http://iothyngs.com/?download=272

Best regards

Dave
