ESP-01 strange response

I have one ESP-01 1M with response after reset like in the attachment. I try different baud rate but no success. I can flash it, try R120, R147, R148, V2.0.0.0 - result is the same. I also try LUA flasher, various combination (erasing, full flash....) and nothing. Whats wrong?

Do other ESP's work?
Which USB/UART adapter is used?

pl2303 on 3.3V. It works fine on every other module.

Smells like FTDI chip. Let me guess - you're using Windows 10?
Try again with a different unit, most likely it won't work also: Welcome to FTDIgate mk2.

If it uses a fake chip (99% of them do) then the latest driver update made it talk bullshit.
Solution: avoid anything with FDTI on it and use an adapter with cp2102 or ch340 chips.

Edit: it's not an FTDI but it seems Prolific plays the same game with fake chips...

OS is windows 7. Chip is PL2303HX. I use few ESP moduls (ESP-01 and ESP-12) with no problem.

Seems that newer ESP-01 (the V3) have some strange behaviour.

Maybe check this thread: https://www.letscontrolit.com/forum/vie ... f=5&t=2780
