Sonoff TH16 & 4 GPIO ports

#1 Post by LisaM » 18 Jun 2017, 14:35

Yes, this is possible. It takes a little soldering to make the necessary connections.
I wanted to not only control a relais using GPIO12, but also use the MH-Z19 for CO2 measurements and use the BME280 for temp/hum/pressure.
So i needed 4 additional GPIO's, while the TH16 only provides one (GPIO14).

After some soldering, using this http://tinkerman.cat/wp-content/uploads ... ABELSs.jpg, i have now the following ports available:
GPIO0 (added a smd 0-ohm resistor on an empty spot where it was reserved for just this purpose)
GPIO4 (added a smd 0-ohm resistor on an empty spot where it was reserved for this purpose)
GPIO13 (removed useless led and redirected the port to the connector)
GPIO14 (standard present in external 2.55 trrs jack)

GPIO 0/13 are connected to the MH-Z19 and GPIO 4/14 to the BME280 (I2C).

Here's a picture of the board:
