Sonoff Basic R2 and DHT22

#1 Post by pppp33 » 13 Feb 2019, 13:48

Hello there,

here it is a little hint to connect Sonoff Basic R2 (without spare GPIO's) to DHT 22 "the easy way"
1. I prepared hw by soldering 4 pins header on the board.
1. I flashed the last EspEasy, for 1 MB boards, with usb-to-serial adapter
2. I set up and DISABLE serial port
3. I connected DHT22 (see pics)
4. I used GPIO-3
5. Now, it's up-and-running since 3 days......

I hope it's useful to somebody.....

Regards
Paolo

One word of warning when using Sonoff's.
Not all Sonoff boards have proper isolation from mains power.
So always disconnect from mains when flashing and also use proper isolation for the sensor if you mount it somewhere where it can be touched.
