SHT3x - no readings

#1 Post by amiable » 20 Jan 2020, 15:36

Hi, I'm on D1 mini with ESPeasy
Build 20104 - Mega
GIt Build: mega-20191208
Filename: ESP_Easy_mega-20191208_test_ESP8266_4M1M_VCC
There is a SHT30 connected to my D1 mini:

Unfortunately, I have never been able to get readings from it.
I'm newbie to ESP and not sure if I connected sensor to D1 correctly.
My connection is:
VIN -> 3.3V power adapter
GND - > ground power adapter
SCL -> GPIO-5
SDA -> GPIO-4

I will be grateful for any advice.

My configuration:

Does the i2c scanner (found under tools) show the sensor?

Thanks for the reply.
My fault: it was cold joint on SDA connector :oops: . I noticed only when I used the magnifying glass. I corrected the soldering and now everything works perfectly.

Hello,

Can I ask where do you get the version of ESPeasy with SHT30, please ? Or must I create a new post ?

Thanks

As you can see here: https://espeasy.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... al-plugins
it is included in the "testing" binary of the nightly builds.
