Espeasy on ESP32

#1 Post by tchi59 » 06 Jul 2021, 15:56

Hi,

I am using an ESP32 with ESPeasy.
The ESP32 is managing multiple relays for watering garden purpose (6 ways and 6 Relays).
My question, since there is only one pin VIN on the ESP32,
do you know where i can purchase wires with one female connection to many connections ?

Best Regards

First of all, you may want to double check if the ESP32 board you're using really has a Vin pin next to the USB connector.
There is a number of boards out there which have the silkscreen marked to be Vin, but in reality it is a different signal.
One way to check is to measure the voltage over that pin if you have the board connected to USB.

About the cables.
You better use experimental boards to which you can solder things as wiring via so called "dupont" cables is flaky at best.

Make sure you buy one for the module you have as there are several versions, mainly with different pin count.
