ESPEasy Pulse Counter delay

#1 Post by flo » 02 Jan 2017, 11:47

Hello,

i am new to ESPEasy and my first project is to measure my gas consumption via a reed switch connected to my NodeMCU board. this is working quite good, but somtimes i have pulses double counted. I already tried to different debouncing times but now i am wondering about the "delay" input field. I could not find any information about this parameter, neither in the wiki nor in the code. Can someone explain this parameter to me?

Thanks

Florian

The delay of a sensor is the update time of the sensor. For example if a Temp sensor is set to 5 seconds delay, it will report temperature to the controller every 5 seconds.
