Generic HTTP Controller DNS Hostname

I am having some trouble with the generic http controller. I got everything configured and it all works, but the problem is that the controller (wunderground) changes ips frequently. That is why I put a hostname instead of an ip. espeasy seems to resolve the dns to ip, but only when the controller is saved. I need it to do the lookup every time, or at least when it fails to find the host. I posted some details here https://www.letscontrolit.com/forum/vie ... 923#p13923

Hi, Im facing the same issue.
In older ESPEasy releases somehow DNS resolve was re initiated by performing the soft reboot. Then, a simple rule script once a day a preventive reboot helped the situation. Now, controller resolves only if settings edited and saved. Pity, i know...

any workaround for this "bug". I was kind of waiting for a "fix", but, i guess, will revert to older version and stick with scheduled reboot. My MBB LTE router recently starts to change IP every few days. Annoying when in need to visit remote sensor whereabouts.

The 2.0.0 version is not released yet and work is done on weekends and evenings (we are working as hard as we can).
