Rollershutter - rules

#1 Post by hr3 » 26 May 2017, 16:01

Hello,
I am surching for examples of rules for a roller shutter with the function of
- delay then change in direction
- set gpio to low after max. time
- calculate the position on basis of time span, either after stop/restart and direction-change

I have coded that for Arduino, so I can generate for ESP, but I think a ESPEasy-rule-solution will be better but I have no experiance in writing ESPEasy-rules.

I'm interested to! Especially combined with this board: https://github.com/JanGoe/esp8266-wifi-relay
Instead of two lights, i want to use it to control my electrical roof window (one up and one down). Since it takes 50 seconds to go from totally closed to completely open, i only need to to calculate the time it was going up minus the time it was going down. The roof window has an electrical contact signalling it is complete closed, enabling the option to reset the percentage open value to 0.
