Generic - Pulse counter - RISING FALLING CHANGE no difference

#1 Post by Sektflasche » 25 Feb 2019, 14:09

hi,

I use "Generic - Pulse counter" device with a TCRT5000 sensor to read my water-counter.

Everything is fine but the counter register every round as two impulses. It make no difference if the "mode type" is "RISING", "FALLING" or "CHANGE". It creates always two impulses.

Every ideas?

ps. It's not a good solution to divide the value by 2 because, when the measuring wheel will stop for a while in status hi, then my result will by not right.

Thank you

I found this information viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1143&p=5429&hilit=TCRT5000#p6407. It looks like the issue is still open: https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEasy/issues/2366

https://github.com/letscontrolit/ESPEas ... _Pulse.ino

Code: Select all

35        Device[++deviceCount].Number = PLUGIN_ID_003;
36        Device[deviceCount].Type = DEVICE_TYPE_SINGLE;
37        Device[deviceCount].VType = SENSOR_TYPE_SINGLE;
