rules set 1 -4 dependency clarification required

#1 Post by riker1 » 16 Mar 2019, 11:58

Hi

I am wondering how the rule set 1 to 4 are related.

My understanding is, I can start a timer 1 or Monitor a GPIO 1 in Ruleset 1
and I can use the timer 1 or check state of GPIO 1 in rules set 2

or is my understanding wrong?

Thanks T

Think of the rules set as pages in a book. They are all in the same book. Thus they could be one long page or divided into several short pages.

ok thanks

so I can have similar event defined in rules 1 and call it from rule 2

same for timer. only 8 timers overall, start timer in ruleset 1 define timer event rules#timer in ruleset 2

Right?

Thanks a lot
