Has something changed recently with the Switch plugin ???
I used to be able to send an event (from Node-RED vai MQTT) to trigger a rule that would toggle a GPIO pin.
So I could (remotely) check if the input was working.
I also used a Switch plugin to check the state of an input (on the same pin) (this was in fact an infra-red detector).
What happens now is... the switch input works fine UNTIL I do a remote test then it fails to work anymore until I reboot the Wemos.
Seems like the GPIO command is messing-up the input mechanism.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Well, not "recently"
It looks like some changes made around Christmas last year.
