Hi, my idea is.
Turn on a small lamp at sunset for 4 hours.
The rest of the time should save the ESP01 in Deepsleep mode power.
Is there a way to wake up the ESP01 at sunset? (Pause?)

No not really.
Also the interval for the ESP cannot be set that high, although for core 2.5.2 and higher it can be set longer than 70 minutes.
I think the max is about 3.5 hours.
Also the deep sleep clock isn't that accurate, so if you set the remaining sleep time in rules, you may want to make the last "jump" a bit shorter just to compensate for the drift of the clock

Ok, thanks for the feedback.
Then I'll have to look for another solution.
The lamp with the sunset is still interesting to me.

Re: wake up from deepsleep at sunset
Well you can use rules to turn the unit off when it isn't time yet and set the new sleep time.
It is just that it cannot sleep for > 3.5 hours at a time, so you have to do it in intervals.

Ok, a good hint, thanks,
Then the ESP would wake up about four times a day for about two minutes. That's OK

I think it will be about 10 seconds wake time to get a WiFi connection and get the time from NTP.
Re: wake up from deepsleep at sunset
You can use some little electronic ( photoresistor or photo diode etc ) .
Sleep ESP forever and after sunset create short pulse on RST to wakeup.
On boot sequence switch your lamp on, count 4 hours, switch lamp off and do sleep command.
