If you have more than one 'Generic - Dummy Device', changing the 'Output Data Type' option on one device changes all other 'Generic - Dummy Devices'
For example if you have device 1 with the 'Output Data Type' set to 'Quad', you have four values. If you add a second 'Generic - Dummy Device' and set the 'Output Data Type' set to 'Single', device 1 will now be a single too.

Yep known bug and someone has emailed me a fix, but haven't had the time yet to look into it.
The problem is that the properties of a plugin are set in memory for all instances of that plugin.
And as far as I know it may be a big change to get it right for all places where the output type is queried.
The same bug applies to the system info plugin and the SenseAir plugin (when setting to collect CO2 + temperature)
