Hello
in the docs https://espeasy.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... /P003.html the time for a Generic - Pulse counter is Time between current and most recent pulse in milliseconds
What does that mean?
When I look to my counters I could not figure out anything...
What is the current? Time? Pulse?
Pulse counter Time what is it?

Re: Pulse counter Time what is it?
I have to check the code to be sure, but as far as I can remember it is also related to the settings of the task as not all settings update all values (I think...)
The updating of the values on the Devices page has also been changed slightly a few months ago (automatic update values even if you only have pulse counters, display of values/formatting, etc)
So if you have an older build, you may also want to try a later build, but keep in mind there have been some issues with WiFi in recent builds (again... )

Re: Pulse counter Time what is it?
Thanks for your reply,
what I wanted to do is knowing how much time there was pulses during the "interval" (10 sec for me).
Perhaps the Time wasn't the good thing to use.
Perhaps the is another way to do it...
I could reduce the interval to reduce the error and consider that there was pulses during the whole "interval", but I'm afraid the the ESP capacity (CPU) I have 4 pulse counters

Re: Pulse counter Time what is it?
So you're suggesting the "time" value should be configurable to show either one of these metrics:
- "time high" or "time low" since the last interval of the task
- time since last pulse (can be longer than the interval of the task)
- "duty cycle", which is essentially the "time high" divided by the task interval.
- "period", or 1/freq
I guess those could indeed be added.

Re: Pulse counter Time what is it?
I'd like to measure the nb of pulses / sec
As in the beginning the pulses do not start at T0 in the interval and in the last interval do not stop just at the end, the intervals are not "full" So,if I had the duration between the first pulse and the last pulse, I'll be able to do it...
