I am hoping it may be possible to incorporate ESP Easy UDP sensor alerts into a distributed cluster system I am attempting.
I want to replace my aging Windows Homeseer hybrid security/cctv system with a distributed ESP system without a central dependency. I have been using Esp_Basic to develop a simple text-based protocol for UDP node interaction, whereby things like a voice node verbally announces appropriate triggered PIR or beam-break alerts, which are also responded to by a CCTV PTZ node that issues appropriate Pelco pres-set camera position codes using serial to RS485. Similarly for other node to node functionality such as IR extenders etc - all messages reach all subnet nodes, but only any nodes specifically interested in a message will respond.
