Hello forum, :)
I've recently discovered the ESPeasy firmware, what a fantastic project!
I've installed it on 3 nodemcus so far, and will be doing more. Currently working on an AC current /power plugin.

Hi Andrew
Good to meet you.
How are you getting on with your AC current / power plugin?
I am working on Infrared control Web App that stores button data and would like to include current monitoring so that I know if TV etc is on.

omg I signed up for this forum specifically for help with an IR plugin! do you have a github for that?
because the current r034 irtx plugin can't send raw codes and when I send the hex codes it sends it differently than its written, or maybe I am just being dumb (very possible)

Hi @Keith Hamilton,
I've got it *partly* working as a plugin. It gives out what seem sensible power readings to mqtt, but for some reason it doesn't display them in the devices page. I need to do some testing to check accuracy too. At that stage I'll put it on github for other people to try out.
Hth, Andrew.

Hi Andrew

Hope you are well.

How is your test progressing. What hardware did you use?

Regards
Keith

Hi Keith,
Just getting back to this after a period where other things got in the way. I'm going to start a separate topic about it, as I'm having a few difficulties at present.
Regards
Andrew
