Introducing myself Richard IoT Enthusiastic

#1 Post by rtenklooster » 24 Aug 2015, 23:16

Hello everyone,
My name is Richard, 'build' in the late 80's living in the Netherlands (Groningen). Happily married and proud father of a great boy!
Interested in almost everything with wires, even more in wireless devices and IoT techniques, I ended up switching my career from bike shop store manager to ICT student. Starting with a new job this September.

A few years ago I started hooking up arduino's with Ethernet shields to my HVAC. Now almost everything is connected, as diverse as a front door lock with RFID, as my internet controlled soldering iron :)

Because of the high potential I see in the small cheap esp modules, and the always amazing yet extreme simple solutions Martinus is able te create, I must be one of the most enthusiastic forum members.

Let's put our strengths together and create some nice things, and of course... Have a lot of fun with our hobbies! Don't hesitate contacting me with questions on how to get started, I have some teamviewer experience with a few newbie's :)
