Hi to all

Hi, great that ESP exists.
Last year I started with home automation, because I wanted to try the new possibilities of IoT.
I use homekit on my devices and a homebridge is running on my Pi3 which is switching my wireless lights and my TV.
I am into programming and building hardware since 40 years.

First intention was to automate my window shades (blinds). In November I found ESP_Easy, what is a great thing for IoT.
I wrote rules and learned how to use them in ESP_Easy. The automation worked, but was too slow reacting for my purpose, because it has also to react to manual switches to stop the blinds while moving. An unpredictable delay of more than 1 second was not acceptable. So I was programming my own with Arduino core for ESP, which is reacting fast and is doing what I want. Was along way to get it work (3 weeks vacation to program all needed things and to make it work).

Now I want to automate my outdoor lights and movement sensors and I am back into ESP_Easy, because it is easy to program. I use Mosquitto on my Pi to communicate with my homebridge via MQTT.

I think this is a great thing you did. Thank you all contributors.
