Startup with EasyESP - Hardware from Ebay

Hi

I would like to buy the hardware needed for a setup with ESP8266--> EasyESP and 2 x ds18s20, I just need the temperature online on the webserver in EasyESP.
As I can read it in the forum, a Nodemcu is a good start, no need for a pullup resistor or other electronics. Just the board and 2 x sensors should be needed ?

Will this parts be enough to get this running, or do I need more equipment

Yes, almost every ESP8266 should be able to drive the DS18B20 ...

Unless you want to solder it directly to the board, you can probably get some connectors to connect the temperature sensor to the pins for next to nothing.

A lot of people use breadboards, and it frequently makes the crazy, the connections are not very good.

I don't know much about V3, but the DS18B20 requires 3.0V, use a good 5V USB power supply.
If it is not running well from your computer, try a newer OEM cell phone charger, they are usually pretty good.

Do you have a volt meter handy? I am curious to see what the actual VCC voltage is. I keep meaning to test a NodeMCU but I never get to it.
The data sheet for the LD1117 LDO (how they call 35% drop "low" I don't understand) says typical 1.15V drop, and there is a 1N4004 diode before that which has .9 to 1.1V drop....
Math says if you put 5V in, it should put out about 2.85V, assuming I know how to read. I am really curious to see what it actually is.....
The ESP-8266 will run on that, but not all the sensors, and I am also curious how a lower voltage would affect WiFi performance.

On one NodeMCU I am using all the time, I fried the diode on the input moving jumpers while it was running. To fix it I just shorted across the pads and it works better, at least with the DHT-22 & DS18B20 sensors I have on it.

UPDATE: I decided to try an INA219 on one of the NodeMCUs I have and it says 3.3V... I am guessing this one (says V1.0 and amica) uses the schottky diode, as specified in the schematic and BOM, and the code on the diode would indicate a Schottly as well. I also found a good picture of the Lolin "V3" NodeMCU and that one looks like it also has Schottky diodes as well... Perhaps they are not as bad as I thought.... I would love to see the schamatic on it, it has 2 schottky diodes rather than just 1.

Thanks for the help, I have placed the order for the items this morning.
I don't have a soldering Iron, so I also ordered some jumper cables.
I had to order it from Australian suppliers, which has click and collect to get it shipped to my local shop.

I got the NodeMCU and sensors yestoday. I used the information from the wiki, it was almost straightforward. I wire in the Dalles 1-one and now is the data online
