New Sonoff Device Sonoff 4CH Pro - ESPEasy here we come!

#1 Post by Justblair » 08 Jul 2017, 18:43

I received one of these the other day, Sonoff 4CH Pro - 4 Gang Inching/Self-Locking/Interlock WiFi RF Smart Switch (https://www.itead.cc/sonoff-4ch-pro.htm ... 42636b55fb). I am obviously going to use ESPeasy with it this weekend, but before I did I had a look at it using it's standard firmware. Great looking device. I am going to use it with a Mame arcade cabinet to switch off and on the parts of the cab!

Here is my youtube video of the device.

Hopefully I will be able to create a ESPeasy follow up soon. :D

Did you succeed in installing ESPeasy on the 4CH Pro ?
How did you do it ?

Thanks,

Laurent.

Sorry, but that does not answer the question, how to install ESPeasy on the 4CH Pro. It only answers some questions about setting it up after the installation.

Google is your friend (when they are not selling your data...) https://captain-slow.dk/2017/04/01/flas ... onoff-4ch/
Captain Slow is making his own life a little bit harder, if the 4CH is short of power don't use the LM1117. Just connect an external 3v3 power supply to the 4CH and make sure the (-) of the power supply and the (-) of the usb2serial adapter are connected...
