Private project [MONITORING ENERGY CONSUMPTION USING ESP8266]

#1 Post by grovkillen » 26 Nov 2017, 07:46

I have created this blog where I will add more specific projects and not generic stuff regarding ESP Easy and the hardware it supports. I hope this can evolve into a Q&A for the blog.

Glad to help. I figured that it is the small things around (fasteners, enclosures etc.) that's hard to find. :)

Nice bit of handy-work! I agree with you, the hardest part of such a project is not the electronics or even the software and settings, it is in the enclosure and so on. It is so very tempting to have an "open" ESP unit hanging by its wires, but it is much nicer to put it into a neat enclosure.

Looking at the pulse-counter, it reminds me how lucky I am to have a "smart" P1 meter. All it takes is a simple interface cable and a very small bit of electronics... ;)

Oh, Grovkillen, did you see my mail?
