Things to try:
(1) The crash occurs during WiFi init, so could be voltage sag problem. Try a different 5.0V power supply that has stable/clean power. Add caps on 5V rail too.
(2) Do a full flash memory reset. This will ensure a clean install. Hint, Load File: blank_4MB.bin
(3) Try an earlier release, such as mega-20190121.
