Warning triangles on interface.

#1 Post by Hairyloon » 27 May 2019, 00:54

Variously around the ESP Easy interface, I see warning triangles, but I've not found any guide to what any of them mean.
Thus far, I have not yet noticed any adverse effects from ignoring them, but I assume they are there for a reason...

Thanks. A link to a thread which suggests to google for an answer...
But I did find this:

Hmm, apparently I have not yet added a link to the page I made in the documentation about it.

Good stuff, thank you.

Moving on, I imagine this is a breach of forum etiquette, but since you are involved in the documentation, can I take this opportunity to raise a point on the "Rules" page?

I would go on to say that I cannot get the example to work, but that would take the breach too far I think...

Can I leave it with you to pass on, or should I go find him?

In which case, should we try to compile a list of errata, so you can do it all at once? I don't like to do it spontaneously: it feels like I'm having a go...

It seems to me that that ought to be a very doable thing. This project is a good enough idea that it ought to be able to generate enough money to pay some staff.
I would not like to suggest how best to do it, but I do suggest that we start a conversation about it.

I would say that it's eminently executable, if we can assemble the right team...

I think it's going pretty okay since a month ago but the status quo is that we don't have the funds to pay our bills until we get a proper income.
