Hi from the Netherlands

#1 Post by elloco999 » 11 Aug 2019, 19:22

Hi,

I'm Wouter from the Netherlands.
I'm pretty new to working with microcontrollers, just started with my first Arduino Uno a few weeks ago. Found this to be so much fun I already ordered two Nano's and a whole bunch of sensors.

Also got me a RFLink to try and operate my sunscreen and shutters automatically. Than eventually led me to this forum.

Looking forward to learning a lot about my new hobby.

Cheers,
Wouter

Hallo Wouter :)

Good to have you addicted already.
Maybe you should also look at the ESP8266 and ESP32, which are being used in ESPeasy.
Just a little warning: Het is reteverslavend :)

Thanks for the welcome!

I have actually already ordered two ESP8266's as I was planning to use them for the Nano's (going to be soil monitoring sensors), but one will probably go to the Mega so I control it over wifi.

I will have a look at ESP Easy and the ESP32, sounds like I could have use for it :)
