Suddently switches are going on/off

I have a ESP8266 with ESPEasy running for years now.
Suddently I have a switch hekmagneet#switch that is going on/off for a period of time and randomly.
Cannot understand why. No change in setup.

I switched off connection to domoticz controller to rule out that as a course.
I gave it a new IP to rule out that somewhere there is a hard coded connection.

On the IO port is a switch (don't know the official name) that operates wth a magnet for open/closed gate.

Even without the switch connected the port is still going on/off.

Coincidence or not, I have a nother ESP for a different purpose connected to a manual press switch. Same problem.

Really strange. No changes I know of, and setups for years running.

Any idea? I will replace the ESP8266 WEMOS tomorrow. So rule out that as well.

Any idea?

Random reboots? Check to see if the unwanted on/off events coincide with a reboot.
