Hi all,
i have been interested in home automation for some time.
After reading an article about the so called Tuya hack i bought me a pair of 'smart' Wi-Fi plugs and flashed them OTA with Tasmota.
As i was curious about the ESP8266 and its features it was inevitable i discovered ESP Easy shortly afterwards.
Being almost bored to death during the first lock-down in March '20 playing around with D1-Mini and ESP-01 saved my life or so
As a teen i started with doing electronic experiments / RC modelling, studied computer science / electronical engineering later and now i'm senior technical support / consultant with a world-wide software company.

Glad the various ESP firmware options could help in saving your life
It was never intended to be used for life and death situations, but users keep surprise me on the use cases
