I'm trying to send commands to my sensor.
This works
192.168.86.43/control?cmd=OLEDCMD,off
This does not
http://192.168.86.43/control?cmd=OLEDCMD,off
It seems as though if I pass http:// in the beginning of my call ESP Easy does not like it. I know this sounds strange but it is the case. The problem is that I'm trying to make the call from another piece of software and that product does not see
192.168.86.43/control?cmd=OLEDCMD,off
As a valid URL so it is giving me an error about the path.
Any ideas on what I need to do and why http:// in the beginning of the call is an issue?
No http:// ?

Re: No http:// ?
I know this question just sounds strange and what's also strange is that when I test the call in Postman it works fine. But in my other product I get this...
2021-02-18T18:16:39.965Z ERROR [flogo.activity.rest] - Execution failed for Activity[InvokeRESTService] in Flow[Process command] - Get "http://192.168.86.43/control?cmd=OLEDCMD,on": dial tcp 192.168.86.43:80: connect: connection timed out

Re: No http:// ?
You should have your software fixed, or get support on how to properly issue a http GET request. The InvokeRESTService sounds like a warning, imho
