MPU 6050 2 axis measurement

#1 Post by Smotek7 » 07 Aug 2023, 22:51

I'm trying the MPU 6050 plugin.
It looks like the Accelaration X and Y function is the tilt angle of the sensor, which suits me.
But is there any reason why he can't set the sending of both X and Y values at the same time?
I would need both values.

I never used this sensor myself...
But I have done some tweaking to the ADXL345 sensor, to support various output coordinate systems like pitch/roll etc.
Is that the kind of output coordinate system you need?

I think that's what I need. An airplane is a good example. I need tilt forward - back and tilt left to right. I will order ADXL345.

Be sure to get an I2C version, as I never got the SPI configured device working reliably. Just added it as many boards offer both connectivity options...
