2.4 Ghz Ceiling Fan Remote Support

#1 Post by Scoutamis123 » 16 Nov 2023, 23:12

I have a ceiling fan I got from Amazon (there's many copies under multiple different brand names: YUHAO, POCHFAN, etc). It comes with a remote that operates at 2.4 Ghz RF, but RFLink doesn't seem to be picking up any signals from the remote whatsoever. Here's a link to the FCC report on the remote:

Is there anyway I can get this working in RFLink?

The short answer: No.

The long answer is that it takes a lot of time and effort to get the signal sorted out. It also would require access to the transmitting device. Right now my limited time goes to improving the current firmware and adding support for devices that are widely used.
