Hi,
I am facing flashing a ESP-WROOM-32
To be sure it has nothing to do with a custom bin-file I used from https://td-er.nl/ESPEasy/20231225 Climate 4M Little FS SOLO1
The flash started well (needed to keep boot button a while). But it ended with error telling me Serial port not ready..
Trying to get ESP in AP mode was no problem but no IP#192.168.4.1
What will have happened?

Re: problem ESP32 flash
Please try the 'latest' build:
https://td-er.nl/ESPEasy/latest/
This should hand out IP-addresses via the DHCP server when running the AP mode.
Or you can open the serial console (even with the web flasher tool) and enter the WiFi credentials manually
When the serial port is still open by some application, unplug and replug the ESP.
Some boards do not reset well after flashing and then the serial port may still be claimed by either the flashing tool or some other software.
For example Cura (software for 3D printers) is known to try to connect to any present serial port periodically.
So make sure that software is not open on your PC when seeing these kind of issues.

Code: Select all
wifissid,MyWiFiSSID
wifikey,MySecretWiFiPassword
save
reboot
