Is it possible for ESPEasy to connect a 4x4 matrix keyboard?

I have a 4*4 matrix keyboard

and an I2C 8-channel expansion module based on PCF8574

I connect it like this

I tried using "Keypad - PCF8574 / MCP23017/PCA8575", However, there is no Chip (Mode) in this plugin : PCF8574(Matrix 4x4)
There is only a Chip (Mode) : PCF8574(Matrix 5x4)

CF8574 mode(Matrix 5x4) does not work with a 4x4 keyboard
Is it possible for ESPEasy to connect a 4x4 matrix keyboard?

Yes, I used P061
Today I decided to check the keyboard. It turned out that the keyboard was defective.
Her buttons are stuck.
I separated the film and heated it with a hair dryer 100 degrees Celsius. the film had a stress release and it took the correct shape.
Now everything is working as it should.
I think film keyboards are not very reliable.

Don't know where you got it from, but it may have been squashed somehow during shipping or storage, causing the buttons to get stuck.

Yes those film keypads are only for occasional use.
They are also not as "weatherproof" as they are advertised to be.
On the other hand they are quite cheap, so keep that in mind when designing an enclosure for them to design it in such a way you can actually replace it without having to re-make your entire enclosure. (or PCB)
So better use pinheaders and some replaceble plate where you can glue the pad to.
Or make some slide-in mechanism which can also act as water stop.
