Hello,

Living near Lyon in France.
Using Domoticz with Arduino boards to manage my house (lights, heating, alarm...).
Actually, my system is based on Arduino boards programmed with MySensors library and linked with Domoticz with IP.
My system works well for more than 5 years.
Unfortunately, lightning stroke on my house and killed many boards and sensors.
So I am thinking to modify my system with ESP boards (ESP8266 and ESP32), programmed with ESPEASY and linked to Domoticz with MQTT.
Obviously, I encountered some issues and I need some help to fix them.

Great, please try to avoid (buying) ESP8266 boards, as we are constantly struggling to make the ESPEasy builds fit into the limited flash size of these units. Also the low available memory is often problematic, so new features often have to be excluded from the ESP8266 builds just to make it work.
Prices of ESP32 units have become quite reasonable (besides the 'Classic' ESP32 we also support most derived models: S2, S3, C2, C3, C6), also for the 8MB and 16MB units, so these 8 and 16MB units are the preferred choice when buying new devices, but 4MB will of course also work when selecting the right build.
