something foundational?

Hi,

In RPiEasy, is there something foundational I need to do, prior to the use 'Clock#Time' within 'RULES' ?

Code: Select all

on Clock#Time=All,**:30 do //will run every hour at the half hour
  taskrun,Ambient
  timerSet,1,60
Endon
I am not seeing any action with rules that I know work in ESPEasy. Also, I don't see any Clock#Time events in the RPiEasy log either.

Thanks,

Brian H.

Ensure that the timezone is correctly configured in RPiEasy. If the timezone is not set correctly, it might affect the triggering of time-based events.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I have verified that TZ is set properly on the RPi via raspi-config, but don't see any of the usual time settings on the Tools/Advanced page as I am used to in ESPEasy, nor any other means of making a TZ setting within RPiEasy.

Cheers,
