I tried to setup email notifications in the climate build, but the port number is greyed out with value 1 and also the timeout is greyed out. Is this a bug and is there a way around it (I want to change the port number to 2525?
Thanks,
Rene

Re: Use notifications in climate build
Did some testing, but it seems there's something broken for Notifications in that build
Recently there have been some modifications to the Notifications, and that appears to have fixed this issue.
You can install the latest beta (preparing for an October release) from https://td-er.nl/ESPEasy/latest/ when using a Chrome or Edge browser and your ESP connected via (USB-)serial to your computer.

Re: Use notifications in climate build
I got the new build and can change the port. Unfortunately it still did not work. I have also loaded the climate build on an esp32 and there it works. On the october pre-build I got in the log
Email:Initializing
Email: Connection Closed With Error
I do not see any difference in the 2 configurations. The user name has a - sign (ESP-Rene). Perhaps that causes a problem in the new build

Re: Use notifications in climate build
Don't expect the dash to cause issues, that's a quite common character to be used in mail account names, or passwords.
It's possible you've got something network related not entirely right, but we haven't seen your network setup so not sure. Using DHCP will cause the least hassle or issues with that.
There's some work going on for the Email plugin by TD-er, so you can test from this PR-build for validation. You'll need a (free) Github account to be able to download.
