Custom tab/webpage, unauthenticated access

I am considering creating an extension of ESPEasy to allow one to read the values of sensors without authentication, practical if you wish data to be publicly accessible directly on the sensor and only configuration to be password protected. Any pointers in this direction, have not found any topics on the forum about this? Would anyone else find this useful?
