Let's Control It

For approx. 2 US$ including shipping, these are the cheapest 433MHz wireless
door/window sensors I found on aliexpress: http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/2JYF2jy

Said to be based on an EV1527 chip they are supposed to work with RFLink?!
Or can anyone here recommend something better for a still reasonable price?

Usually these will work perfect with RFLink as EV1527 transmitting sensors.
The drawback is that only removing the magnet will be sensed and result in a transmit burst with length of about one second. Putting the magnet back will not be sensed.
Another use for this sensor can be to indicate that a alarm installation gets active. When the battery is not installed and the battery contacts are connected to the siren output of an alarm installation it will transmit a burst as soon as power is applied i.e. as the siren output becomes active..

Can you recommend better ones?

Would be great to have a device where the batteries last > 12 months.

I have no experience with that KERUI sensor.

About 12V batteries in these cheap EV1527 sensors. I experienced that they work quit long, many months up to a year or more. Battery use is very low in inactive state, something like 25uA is what I measured (if I remember well)
