Hi
It is possible, but you have to buy the pulse module to read the pulse from meter counter and send to domoticz.

METER ---- Pulse counter-----ESP8266 (((( WIFI )))) Domoticz

If your device has a small LED that send pulses then it works.
Buy the sensor Maluko adviced.
Glue or tape the board so the LDR at the top points towards the LED.
Cover the LDR to prevent it receives ambient light. Black palstic tape will do.
Connect GND, VCC, DO to an ESP.
Further follow the wiki.

If you do not have Domoticz runnign but want to know if the sensor works use an other value then 0 in as IDX number in ESP EASY setting.
You might need to adjust the potentiomneter at the sensor board to read the LED pulse.

Yes that should be possible also, just connect it direct to the GPIO in with a pull up resistor. Then you don't need a pulse diode.
I have done this before with Mysensors and the pulse counter sketch.

Hello,
I got the same sensor working in combination with a Ampy 5177c power meter.
I have the data in Domoticz . Only the chart is displayed in points every hour. All other charts are displayed with an interval of 5 min.
Is this a setting in the esp8266 or Domoticz?
Kind regards,
Har
