Hello,
I think it was nice to have a function
- to lock a(some) gpio(s) agains setting directly over MQTT, only for use from rules
- to have the possibility to reset the settings by upload a new version, or to remove them in tools, to get the factory settings

For the second point:
In Tools you find a field "Command" at the bottom.
Enter "reset" (Without the "") in the field and click on submit.

I've just tested that with the ESPEasy 2.0.0-dev9, works like a charme.
