reboot sonoff after signal loss

Hi all

i am using Espeasy on my sonoffs basic but having trouble with virgin media router dropping wifi
when this happens the sonoffs dont reconnect,

is there any code that would reboot the sonoffs when signal is lost and then reconnect

you could try the rules in esp easy. its in the advance tab. I have never used them nor do I know if they're capable of that but just a thought

If you use the system info plugin and make a value for the RSSI signal strength you can create a rule that run once a minute or so and check and see what level you have. If signal is very weak or lost you perform a reboot or reconnect to wifi.

I brought a new router nighthawk 7000 and set Virgin as a modem new router hasn't dropped once yet

Pfft, solving things by buying better suitable hardware which also might solve other nuisances with WiFi, instead of trying to find a software patch to mask the symptoms.
That takes away a lot of the tweaking experience fun.
Before you know it, everybody will use these devices because they're so easy to use. ;)
