Sonoff as wall plug

Has any of your colleagues used Sonoff of the type shown in the photo?
Can it be disassembled without damaging the housing and install ESPeasy?
It looks cool because it has the form of a plug, so you don't have to cut the original cables in the controlled device.

I'm using the Sonoff S20 with ESPEasy, and I can't see why S26 shouldn't as well.

I've not used the S26, but I have many of the S20 version in use around my house here in the UK.
I operate them from Node-RED via MQTT protocol.

The S20 is very easy to flash with ESP Easy or Tasmota as it has four pads on the PCB that bring out the connections you need.
All you need to do is solder a header onto the pads and temporaily connect some flying leads to your USB programmer.

It looks like the S26 doesn't have the pads, so you have to solder directly onto the PCB.
How easy this task is depends on your soldering skills and the equipment you have.

Once you have flashed the device you can update it OTA (Over The Air) [So you don't need the leads anymore.]

PS:
I might buy a couple of S26s and see how difficult/easy the task is.

OK, thank you very much colleagues for advice. I will look for the S20 version on Ali with an EU plug/socket (because this is the standard in my country).

Hmm. I found out such WiFi plug. Looks nice. Does anybody had try to run Easyesp on it?

Those very compact plugs are usually quite hard to disassemble in a way they can be safely re-assembled later. It seems to suggest in the picture it is tuya based, meaning that alternative firmware is possible, but I've never tried to flash ESPEasy in that way. (A tuya update tool can be found by the powers of Goolge). You could try to first flash an ESPEasy minimal OTA updater, and then install a normal 1 MB version from there. Then there is no need to open the case and connect wires, etc.
