Too dumb - switch input

#1 Post by karl222 » 20 Feb 2022, 16:28

Hi guys,

seems that I fail with one of the simplest tasks. I'd like to connect 2 push buttons on different gpio's 12 and 13.

I am using settings as shown in attachment.

When I wire ground to gpio 12, nothing happens in status of gpio, same with gpio 13.

What do I do wrong with such a simple task? I have tried it with three different wemos modules already, though it is no damaged device.

help appreciated - thx
karl

What does not work as expected?

NB: You seem to have the Interval set to 0 seconds (= disabled), so the status won't be read and the devices page won't be automatically updated after that interval.

Seems this is the solution...:-)

it is confusing, that this parameter is "optional"...

many thanks

That was changed for those that don't want to repeatedly send out the state to the controllers, but still explicitly allow that by using the TaskRun command from rules.
