Let's Control It

Have here a seemingly "normally" configured switch (see pic).
State on the devices page is nicely changing value when flipping the switch, but there are no events fired in the log.
What am I doing wrong?

You don't have rules enabled.
See the tools->Advanced page, a checkbox at the top of that page.
Make sure to also press save at the bottom of the page
You may need to switch tabs before the "rules" tab will show up.
