how to use syslog ?

#1 Post by kr0815 » 29 Nov 2015, 11:22

My ESPs (2 of them) reboot after like 12-24 hours, i never saw one with an uptime over about 1500 minutes.
Sometimes they even Crash completely, so i Need to reset them by unplugging power

i see there is a syslog Feature, how could that be used ?

1) Make sure you have a syslog server running in your local network
2) Enter the IP addres of this server into the field "Syslog IP"
3) Set the syslog level to something between 1 and 4

I didn´t think it´s that easy, already have it running.
So Level 4 should bring most log Messages ?
Regardless what i choose between 1 and 4 the following is all i get?
