Well damm,
I opened a old version of ESPEasy_mega-20180324 - tried that and it worked !!
Got in to the ESP and finished the setup and gave a WIfi spot and logged in to the console.
Quit it and then tried the next version 20200328 and now its dead again ! (grin) Oh well ......
Cheers'

Hi Folks, So I am now able to talk to two of my very old Wemos D1 Mini's with a USB-to-Serial cable that works. (who knew huh?) Here's my question now, on the two old ESP's I logged in to both and made two BACKUP files from within each unit, it was under TOOLS, and then SETTINGS, and SAVE and it mad...

Re: Wemos D1-Mini USB connection issues
Hi Guys, I just read SpasT post about the voltage issue with newer Wemos D1 Mini's. So is it safe to assume that newer boards need to have a jumper run from the Wemos D1 Minis 5vdc input pin to a .1uF cap and then over to ....? pin 4 labeled V3 on the CH340 chip itself or to pin 16 labeled VCC on th...

Re: notifications and esp
Hi Thomas, Yep .... I saw that Wiki ...... I also tried to get one of the two accounts going but more about that later. My real question is in my case is - its the activation part of the process first - not so much the actual email going out. I don't have a way to tell the unit to wake up as a trigg...

Re: Hummm, so where is the - I'm a dork" section? :-)
Oh it's not going to be out there permanently - its just for now for testing. Eventually it'll feed a Pi and provide lovely trends and graphs! It's just odd that it "seems" like the bugger can't get thru the router and I have lots of stuff passing thru ! I've never run in to this before !?...

Hummm, so where is the - I'm a dork" section? :-)
Hi Gang, I've got a problem ..... I have an ESP-12 made by WeMos and its a D1 Mini Module. It's chugging away happily and I can see it inside on 192.168.x.x I also opened the post 80 on my router to let it out. For whatever reason ... no joy !! I can't see it from outside, it IS port 80 right!? Any ...
