DS18B20 can be operated in chains.
The wiki for ESPEasy describes the setup with a single DS18B20 [although the shown settings-window is for a counter-setup].
That wiki-section also hints at the application of multiple DS18B20s.
Underlying aspects such as multiple IDXes as required to funnel the info to Domoticz make me wonder whether a 'chain-operation' is possible at all from a single ESPEasy-instantiation.
Any description available for operation of ESPEasy with a chain of DS18B20s?

Re: DS18B20 chain
yes, its is possible to put more than 1 temp sensor.
each sensor will require create a task and one idx to send to controller.

@maluko
Thanks for confirmation that a chain is possible.
Then at least hardware interface is simple: select 1 GPIO for connection of the whole chain.
But software-side seems different: how to use 1 setup-window for multiple DS18B20s against multiple IDXes?
Or phrased differently: when setting up, with 1 window how do I select a specific DS18B20 and link it to a related IDX at the side of Domoticz?

Re: DS18B20 chain
you have to create a virtual sensors at domoticz, each sensor have a idx, so when you put the chain on espeasy i will configurate each ds18b20 with each task and inside the task you have all field you want, like idx.
atention that the first time you create a task and select ds18b20 sensor you have to submit first so only next time you edit will appear the ds18b20 adress.

Re: DS18B20 chain
my sugestion is to add only 1 for you understand how, next go to more
Re: DS18B20 chain
Setup of ESPEasy with 1*DS18B20 is no problem, and already in operation
Expansion to 2nd till n-th DS18B20 is the question .......
Standing before the realization not knowing how to do.
Probably afterwards very obvious ......
Comparable procedure as for I2C-sensors?
[= Edit the next Device with selection of sensortype DS18B20 and linking with the IDX for the related virtual device in Domoticz]
Thinking along that line, just asking how I find the identification of the available/connected DS18B20s, to make the right links.
For I2C in ESPEasy there is an I2C-scan-function, but nothing similar for 1Wire [?]
Additional question: how many DS18B20s is practical, max. chain-length for an ESP8266?
